ELIE, FIFE
A Californian modernist makeover is proposed for an artist's house in Elie to exploit the
bright light and milder temperatures found here. The design, based on an unusual striking
angular theme to emulate distant rocks, is dominated by a perforated wall providing shelter
for a seating area surrounded by bold foliage plants and exuberant colour.
